Sabalenka is from Belarus and was born in Minsk. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. Aryna is the holder of twelve WTA Singles titles, one of which was crowned Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. In doubles, she is a great player. She's been a winner of two Majors with Elise Mertens The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. She also achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, taking in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Dieter Kindlmann became her trainer from the month of August to September of 2020. Her training has been provided by her countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020.
